Intercultural Transfers and Processes of Spatialization

The present publication is an attempt to provide an overview on the research projects over the last years concerning cultural transfers. On the one hand, this overview should present a balance of the results obtained at different places of the network of researchers working on this approach of historical transfers; on the other hand, it draws attention to promising new fields on enquiry. This publication was prepared during a conference at Leipzig University in December 2019 and is related to the research programme of the Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) 1199: Processes of Spatialization under the Global Condition, which organized the conference. The question of spatialization remains a core problem in the research on cultural transfers.
